6 & 7 Year Old Instructional League

The HYBA Instructional League, a modified tee ball league, provides instructional level play for our association's youngest players. These include 6 year-olds and 7 year-olds playing baseball for the first time. In addition, parents of returning 7 year-olds who feel their child's skills have not developed sufficiently to safely play with 8 year-olds in the Junior League will have the option to have their child play in the Instructional League.

All Instructional League players are given an opportunity to play a variety of defensive positions, and to face pitching from their coaches. Batting tees are used as required to assist with batting instruction and hitting during games. Games are played on Salem Park Fields 4, 5, and 9.
