About the HYBA...

The Hampden Youth Baseball Association (HYBA) offers supervised baseball programs for Hampden Township youth ages 5 through 18. As we enter the 2016 season, we are delighted that our association has grown to include over 50 teams and more than 550 baseball players. In addition to our regular spring baseball season, the HYBA also provides opportunities for our players to participate in baseball clinics, regional summer all-star tournaments, and fall baseball programs. The HYBA's Instructional, Minor, and Major League programs have been playing under the charter of Little League Baseball since 2002.

Our Board of Directors is committed to provide a positive environment for all HYBA players regardless of age or ability. We ask our coaches and adult volunteers to act as role models and teachers. While we strive to develop our players' baseball skills and to produce competitive programs, these objectives are secondary to good sportsmanship, integrity, and enjoyment of the game. We measure our success in terms of the number of players who return to play our sport each year!

Thanks to the ongoing support of our Township Commissioners, our sponsors, and our volunteers, the HYBA has emerged as a leader in youth baseball in Central Pennsylvania. Our Township Recreation Department actively supports HYBA programs and helps us to maintain some of the finest baseball facilities in the region. With our wonderful combination of committed young players, community support, and volunteer spirit, our association will build upon the tradition of Hampden Youth Baseball for years to come!
